Designer Bridesmaids – Fall/Winter 2011 Collection

Bridesmaids dresses are anything but traditional for today’s modern wedding. There are many stylish options for your fashion forward maids and the Fall/Winter 2011 Collections by Melissa Sweet, Thread and Notte by Marchesa truly take the cake. These dresses are filled with lots of color, unique silhouettes, lush fabrics, asymmetrical necklines and did I mention lots of color?? A big trend right now is for brides is to pick a designer/color/fabric and allowing their maids choose the style they want that will best compliment their body shape and personal style. Not everyone can pull off a charmeuse silk! Let your maids have fun with accessories and grant them the option to choose an oversized cocktail ring or a stylish pair of chandelier earrings (with the bride’s approval of course!) Obviously, we never want the attention to take away from the bride-to-be, but your bridesmaids are an important part of your wedding and a comfortable bridesmaid is a happy bridesmaid. Check out some of the seasons top styles matched with some hot statement accessories.

  1. Being a wedding coordinator, I’m so glad to see the bridesmaids getting away from the traditional long dresses that everyone has to look the same. Lately most of the wedding I coordinate each bridesmaid has a different dress. I think that brings must more interest for the guest.
