One of my biggest tips to couples when planning their wedding is to always hire a videographer or cinematographer or you will regret it later. The day goes by so fast and this is a great way to preserve such a momentous occasion.
Although this wedding is not totally over the top, the love between this couple and the support of their friends and family is so apparent, that it is beautiful to watch. Other memorable moments: the father’s toast (who’s Eric?), the maid of honor’s flashing faux pas (thank goodness for video editing), the sultry/jazzy vibe of the band, and the suave cinematic stylings of Loudbyte Cinematography.
Marcella Lape and Andrew Raia
Married in Chicago, Illinois on June 19, 2010
Marcie and Andy met in Chicago on New Year’s Day in 2007 while Marcie was visiting her brother Eric from Jacksonville, Fla., and Andy was joining them, along with other friends, to watch football games. Andy and Marcie hit it off pretty quickly and ended up talking and laughing the entire day. The duo exchanged phone numbers and proceeded to keep in touch over the next few months until Marcie moved to the Windy City that September. Within a matter of months, Andy and Marcie started dating and a relationship quickly ensued. They fell in love, got engaged two years later and married the following summer.
