Sky Events and Production
For those of you that saw Sandra’s butterfly bridal shower on the blog last week, it should be no surprise that her Los Angeles wedding was just as a-ma-zing! With a theme of vintage floral fantasy this for her wedding, Sandra and Rodrigo’s planner, Lilit Khatchaturian of Sky Events & Production, pulled out all the stops. Of course, it doesn’t hurt that they had the amazing backdrop of the stunning Taglyan Cultural Complex. Here at GOWS, we love this property! Enjoy!
Sandra Thomasian and Rodrigo Bozoghlian
Married in Los Angeles, California on June 25, 2011
Sandra Thomasian and Rodrigo Bozoghlian had an elaborate wedding in Los Angeles, California at the Taglyan Cultural Center. The theme was vintage floral fantasy and every element from the décor to the cake, lighting, furniture and attire followed suit. After their incredible celebration, Sandra and Rodrigo honeymooned in the French Riviera, Paris and Prague.

When it comes to bridal showers, I love it when they are executed with style and elegance and this butterfly bridal shower was right on target. I like to pick a theme and run with it — showing taste and restraint, of course. Something I like in particular about this shower was the absence of hokey games replaced by more contemporary ideas like “Guess the Spice?” and the Make a Bouquet Contest.
I hope you enjoy these ideas as much as I did and be sure to stay tuned next week to see Sandra’s over-the-top wedding!
Sandra Thomasian has had an obsession with butterflies since she was a little girl, so when she got engaged and the time came for her shower it only made sense to have a butterfly-themed bridal shower. Sandra’s sister (the girl in the fabulous lavender dress) threw it for her and from the butterfly arch to the table décor, cake, the floating installation in the pool, the wrapping on the presents, the butterfly place cards that perched on the mimosas, and more, everything had to follow the butterfly theme. “What made my event so special was the attention to detail and the vibrant colors,” says Sandra.
