Spotlight on Chic Parisien, Florida

Recognized around the world as on of the leading bridal boutiques, Chic Parisien was immediately seen as a trend-setter when the store first made its mark in the industry with its opening in 1969. Now, 40 years later and its still successful and a force in the bridal market nationally and internationally. Owner Catherine Fox Milian has been working in the family business for quite some time now. She was able to chat with me about Chic Parisien.

CP: We carry the latest collections from the leading designers. We are the exclusive retailer in Florida for various designers, including Monique Lhuillier. Our expert team is recognized for providing incredible service and going above and beyond to meet our clients’ needs.

GO: In your own words, describe the “bridal salon experience” that brides will receive when visiting your salon.
CP: From the moment a bride walks into our boutique, we strive to make her entire experience special and enjoyable. As the wedding gown selection is one of the key components of the wedding planning process, we realize the significant role our team plays. We aim to make it fun, memorable and undaunting!

Monday – Wednesday & Friday: 10 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
Thursday: 10 a.m. – 8 p.m.

GO: Anything special you want our readers to know?
CP: In addition to trunk shows, we host other in-store events. We are planning our next wedding planning forum on January 5, 2012. “Everything Wedding” will feature experts who will provide brides and grooms with tips on all they need to know to plan their special day. Designer Lazaro is scheduled to make a guest appearance.

Anna Castaldi-Roselli, owner of Roma Sposa, is a native from Rome, Italy and has operated her bridal boutique there for many years. Anna was gracious to host a VIP fashion show this past March for a “Night of Wedding Style,” a fashion show and another stop to my book tour. : Roma Sposa is very involved in the community and supports them through fashion shows and advertising in the local community magazines. Roma Sposa has been involved in fashion shows for the Dante Alighieri Society and the Festa della Repubblica 150th anniversary of the Unity of Italy, the Mother of God Fashion Show at the Shenandoah country club to support the ladies of the Chaldean Community and Grace Ormonde Night of Wedding Style at the Townsend Hotel in Birmingham, Michigan for our local brides-to-be. Roma Sposa is consistently supporting The Jewish News, The Chaldean News, the Italian Tribune and many other local community newspapers through advertising.

Roma Sposa also contributes and donates to many local charities and non-profit organizations such as Team Angels, Angles of Hope, Manresa, Sacred Heart Academy Dante Alighieri Society and Fashion For Compassion. Fashion for Compassion, Assunta Lisi Fund, is a foundation started by Roma Sposa’s owner, Anna Castaldi-Roselli that raises funds that will be used to provide massage, beauty and other support services for those undergoing chemo and radiation therapies.
