I’m a big fan of Chad Allison jewels. I absolutely adore the antique influence of all his creations that appeal to many taste levels and personalities. This rose gold bracelet really struck my interest because of its intricate design combined with that perfect amount of sparkle! Hope you enjoy and today’s Chad Allison pick and Happy Monday!
Some of you may remember the snowboarding bride we posted a few months back by the fabulous Javon Longieliere, well today’s post involves an extreme bride … and groom.
Picture a 400-foot cliff, a decked out bride and groom, no climbing experience and day break. That’s right, this couple, along with a guide and photographer Jay Philbrick, had a pre-dawn start to their extreme post-wedding photo shoot on the cliffs of Cathedral Ledge in North Conway, New Hampshire. With safety equipment and lighting they were bound and determined to make this shoot happen.
While I am not sure I would ever do something so dangerous hours after exchanging “I Dos,” I suppose there is something sort of blissful about doing it on Cathedral Ledge.

Thank you so much to Jay Philbrick of Philbrick Photography for letting us share these extreme images with our viewers!
I recently received this photo shoot inspired by the beauty and culture of Africa and fell in love with it instantly. Photographed by Lauri Levenfeld of Zoom Photography in San Francisco, it tells the story of childhood sweethearts who fall in love and who years later become man and wife. This shoot is filled with vibrant colors and moving imagery. The couple is gorgeous (as both children and adults!) and you can really feel the love between them. Enjoy these stunning images and thank you for sharing with us!

Sometimes it’s not just about falling in love, it’s about staying there. And sometimes the hardest thing is to find love again or later in life. Here is an inspiring image captured by Suzy Lamont to help you get through the rest of the day. Celebrate love!
Grace and Cec, a lovely couple in their very young 80′s, met at the retirement home they reside in. Cec saw Grace from across the dinning room and “her lovely smile glowed.”
I admit it: I have been on a stationery kick lately. Since it is a topic that I am not able to cover in every issue, but nevertheless, an extremely important one, I feel compelled to give it the attention it deserves. And seeing this fan-shaped ceremonial program photographed by the fabulous Ron Soliman of Ron Soliman Photojournalism out of Delaware, got me to thinking about the payoff of a well-executed, but unconventional approach to wedding stationery.
Complete with an illustration of the couple’s chosen ceremony location—the Cathedral Basillica of SS Peter and Paul in downtown Philadelphia, Pennsylvania—on the front, it certainly sets the tone for Mary and Joseph’s July 31st nuptials.

Congratulations Mary and Joseph on your marriage. Thank you to Nancy Chirico of Tiffany & Co. for this incredible stationery design and a special thank you to Ron for letting us share this photo with our viewers. If you want to see other incredible stationery designs visit our online inspiration gallery here or an article we featured earlier this month here.
When we are reviewing submissions we see everything: some good, some bad. You would be amazed. And as we go through everything we start selecting our cakes, tabletops and feature weddings for the next issue, what is a good fit for the online inspiration galleries, what would be great on the blog, and so forth.
When I came across this image by Patty Gonzalez and Susie Canino of PS Photography, I loved the fact that we are able to secretly steal a glimpse of Orla and Andrew’s private moment from their wedding at Costa d’Este Beach Resort in Vero Beach last April. Like peeking through a keyhole, I adore the uninvited, but unobtrusive intimacy of this image and knew I had to share this tender moment with you.

We wish you years and years of happiness Orla and Andrew and thank you Patty and Susie for letting us share your beautiful photography with our viewers.
